Council on Crime and Justice – Speaker
The Council on Crime and Justice is an advocacy group whose mission is to build community capacity to address the causes and consequences of crime and violence through research, demonstration and advocacy. They have been serving others for 54 years. A very interesting group who I expect many of us have not heard about. Here is the website for more information. www.crimeandjustice.org
Court Watch
Court Watch will start approximately at 7pm. We will review the court progress of the 20 people on our list, who have committed crimes in the 2nd Precinct.
State of the Precinct – date to be announced soon
There has been a tradition of holding a special community meeting to discuss the State of the 2nd Precinct each year. This year, Council member Kevin Reich’s Office is coordinating the event with the Chamber – and the date is still open. At this event we would hear the Inspector review last year’s statistics and this years’ goals.
Open to the Public!
The 2nd Precinct Advisory Council meetings are open to the public. Please join us if you are a resident, business owner, or other stakeholder in the 2nd Precinct. We welcome your participation and support.
