National Night Out
Nicholas Juarez, our 2nd Precinct Community Crime Prevention Specialist will discuss our 2nd Precinct National Night Out block parties.
National Night out is Tuesday, August 7th. Attend your block or neighborhood’s National Night Out events tomorrow, on August 7th, and email Nick any pictures you have. In 2012 Minneapolis has 1360 events registered! Last year 60,000 residents participated in 1200 events in Minneapolis. The 2nd Precinct is one of the best places for National Night Out events. Court Watch
Court Watch will be the 2nd part of our meeting starting approximately at 7pm. We have had several requests for impact statements recently. Thanks for your responses to the impact statement requests to help advise the judicial system on our community expectations for different crimes in our community. Your help does make a difference.
The 2nd Precinct Advisory Council meetings are open to the public. Please join us if you are a resident, business owner, or other stakeholder in the 2nd Precinct. We welcome your participation and support.
